A crucial part of an educator's job is to ensure that all students are experiencing growth. As we think of how students can improve in the context of a classroom, there are many opportunities a teacher can provide to improve overall student outcomes. Explore this page to see how I ensure student growth in my classroom.

Access

Students and their families have been exposed to people, programs, resources, and connections that can open doors for them, and they are able to navigate and access those opportunities.

Advocacy

Students have knowledge of injustice in the world, have informed opinions about it, and know that their voice and actions have value. The can advocate for themselves and others.

Habits & Mindsets

Students reference their teacher's guidance in organization, study habits, character traits and values. They have internalized these traits beyond just talking about them which has led to personal growth on the part of the student.

Dramatic Academic Growth

Students make dramatic levels of academic growth that is measurable and rigorous. Families know the level of rigor necessary for college and career readiness in the 21st century.
